North Saluda Blueway

When the Cliffs at Mountain Park built their golf course, they were required to do stream restoration along the North Saluda River as well as establish the North Saluda Restoration Fund to help protect other properties and natural resources along the River. North of the golf course on River Road, before reaching the underpass of Highway 25, is a 5.6-acre property where they rehabilitated the stream and planted trees along the bank. This site is an important access for SCDNR to stock trout and provides access for hikers and paddlers on the river. Naturaland Trust accepted this property as a donation from Urbana Cliffs, LLC in 2016 and continues to manage and steward the property.
